Not Tax-Friendly

The Beaver State's has the country's highest tax bracket: 9.9% is applied to taxable income over $125,000 ($250,000 for married couples filing jointly) — and the bottom bracket is already 5%. Property taxes are on the high side, too. Oregon's absence of a sales tax (and the country's lowest wireless tax) can't make up for that.
