Alison Nest

Alison Nest is a managing director and head of Investment Solutions Products, with responsibility for the Alternative Investments, Traditional Investments and Insured Solutions businesses for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management based in New York City. She is responsible for the development, sourcing, onboarding and servicing of investment products distributed to retail and institutional clients. She was previously the head of Alternative Investments and maintains daily oversight for this business.

Alison has been with the firm for over two decades and has held several roles across the Investment Solutions and Field organizations, including most recently the head of Strategy, Business Development and Risk for Investment Solutions. She also served as the CFO for various business units within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. She joined the firm from Smith Barney in 2009, where she started her career in 2004 as an analyst.

Alison holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Georgetown University. She serves as executive chair and founder of the Investment Solutions Women in Wealth Chapter, board member of the Expect Miracles Foundation and the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives, co-chair of the MMI Alternative Investments Community and member of the UniFi (CAIA) Advisory Council. Alison was also recognized as one of the Morgan Stanley's "MAKERS" Class of 2024.
