In Backyard Getaways, we pinpointed the pros and cons of prefabricated sheds to add more living space to your home. Below we list some of the companies that make such sheds for delivery across the U.S., unless otherwise noted.
Keep in mind that prices are for the sheds or shed kits only; site preparation and installation will cost extra. It's often possible to hire someone to assemble the shed for a few hundred dollars. Price variations largely reflect the quality of the wood, windows and other materials used. All kits are do-it-yourself except those that say installation is included. Each company offers more than one model. (View samples of each manufacturer's offerings in our slide show of ten incredible backyard sheds.)
