With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, she is a seasoned wealth advisor specializing in creating tailored portfolios for high-net-worth individuals. Ms. Balafas is passionate about financial empowerment, offering sophisticated investment strategies and personalized solutions that allow her clients to reach their financial potential.
In 2017, Ms. Balafas founded GoalVest Advisory, a boutique wealth management firm focused on simplifying the complexities of wealth management by bringing all the pieces together in one place for clients — a holistic approach that ensures every aspect of a client's financial life — investments, taxes, estate planning, charitable giving — all work in harmony.
Prior to founding GoalVest, Ms. Balafas managed over $3 billion in assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals at a global investment bank. Her previous experience also includes serving as a third-party money manager to 150 independent financial advisors across the country.
She holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BS from Babson College, along with the CFA and CPWA® designations.
