How to Save Big on Furniture and Clothes at Warehouse Sales

It pays to keep up-to-speed on the annual, semiannual events.

These days, outlet stores often sell lower-quality lines of merchandise than their retail namesakes, but many brands and retailers still sell overstock or last season’s items during warehouse sales. In many cases the sales, where you will find discounts of 40% to 90%, last only a few days and aren’t promoted widely. To find a sale, you may need to check the retailer’s website or Twitter feed, search for Facebook events, or join the company’s mailing list. You can also visit www.whsale.com to search for warehouse sales that have been announced in your area.
