Verizon's Mother's Day Bundle Is Back: Get an iPhone 17, Apple Watch and iPad for Free
Verizon’s latest Mother’s Day promo bundles three Apple devices together — but the savings come with long-term service commitments.
Verizon just rolled out one of its biggest wireless bundle deals I've seen this year, ahead of Mother's Day. New and existing customers can get an iPhone 17, Apple Watch Series 11 and iPad (A16) at no upfront device cost when adding a new line on a qualifying unlimited plan.
The promotion is aimed at families looking to upgrade multiple Apple devices at once, especially shoppers searching for bigger-ticket Mother's Day gifts. It's also part of a broader trend of carriers bundling connected devices together to attract long-term customers.
Wireless companies are increasingly competing on perks and bundles instead of just smartphone pricing alone. For shoppers already considering a phone upgrade, these promotions can look appealing — but the long-term service commitments matter just as much as the upfront savings.
What you need to qualify for Verizon's Apple bundle
To qualify, customers must add a new smartphone line or port-in their phone number to one of Verizon's qualifying myPlan unlimited options, including Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome. The offer is available to new customers and existing customers adding a new line.
The iPhone 17 promotion covers up to $830 in promo credits applied over 36 months toward the 256 GB model. Verizon is also offering up to $499.99 in credits each for the Apple Watch Series 11 and iPad (A16), though both devices require their own service lines.
Verizon Mother’s Day Bundle Deal
Get an iPhone 17 (256 GB), Apple Watch Series 11 and an iPad (A16) free through promotional bill credits.
Just add a new phone line or port in your number to a qualifying Verizon myPlan unlimited plan.
Additional service plans required for the watch and tablet. Promo credits are applied over 36 months.
What Verizon's Mother's Day bundle actually costs
While Verizon markets the devices as "free," the savings are distributed through monthly bill credits over three years. Customers must keep all qualifying lines active for the full 36-month term to receive the entire discount, including the separate service plans for the Apple Watch and iPad.
Here's what shoppers should pay attention to before signing up:
- A qualifying unlimited myPlan starts at about $65 per month with Auto Pay before taxes and fees
- The Apple Watch and iPad each require their own connected device plans
- Promo credits stop if you cancel service or pay off devices early
- The deal applies to the 256 GB iPhone 17 model
Verizon's Mother's Day deal feels like a spring Black Friday sale
This Verizon promotion is essentially a Black Friday-style tech bundle arriving months early. Instead of offering discounts on just a smartphone, carriers are increasingly packaging phones, tablets, smartwatches and connected-device perks together to create bigger headline savings and encourage customers to upgrade multiple devices at once.
For shoppers already planning multiple Apple device upgrades this year, the timing could make sense and save a lot of money. Families replacing several aging devices at once may find these seasonal bundle promotions more valuable than waiting for traditional holiday sales later in the year.
But if you recently upgraded your phone, don't need an Apple Watch or tablet, or prefer flexibility to switch carriers, the long-term service commitments may outweigh the savings. As with most carrier promotions, the best value comes when you were already planning the upgrade anyway.
