How the T-Mobile Visa helps you save on your next trip
Travel smarter and safer
If you're planning a trip, expect to pay more than you would have just a few years ago. Travel costs are up over 26% compared to 2019, driven by higher prices for gas, flights, hotels, and food, according to the U.S. Travel Association’s Travel Price Index.
That doesn’t mean you have to scale back your plans. How you choose to pay can make a real difference in bringing those costs down, even for travelers who already use some of the best loyalty programs for flights and hotels.
While the T-Mobile Visa® credit card is designed to lower wireless bills, it also offers significant travel benefits. When paired with your T-Mobile account, the card can help you save money and keep you connected while you’re on the road.

Save upfront by booking through T-Mobile TRAVEL
Lower travel costs start with your reservations. T-Mobile customers can access exclusive deals through T-Mobile TRAVEL, including up to 40% off eligible hotel stays and Pay Now rental cars.
When you pay with the T-Mobile Visa credit card, you qualify for additional discounts. The combined savings can reach up to 50% on hotels and up to 45% on select prepaid car rentals.1
Unlike many top rewards credit cards that require you to accumulate points before redeeming them for travel, this program delivers immediate discounts. You save money right away instead of waiting to use rewards later.
Reduce fees and risks when traveling abroad
If your travel plans include international destinations, the T-Mobile Visa credit card can help by eliminating foreign transaction fees.2 Many credit cards charge an extra 1% to 3% on purchases made outside the United States, whether you’re paying for hotels, meals, tours, or everyday shopping.
Over the course of a trip, that small percentage can really add up. If you spend $5,000 abroad, a 3% fee could put another $150 on your bill. With the T-Mobile Visa card, that won’t be a problem.
A travel card also makes it easier to pay for everything without relying heavily on foreign cash. You can avoid costly currency exchange fees and reduce the need to carry large amounts of cash while traveling, which is a safety risk.
If your T-Mobile Visa credit card is lost or stolen while you’re traveling, you have zero liability for unauthorized charges. Cardholders also have access to emergency travel assistance services, which can help connect you with support resources if problems arise while you’re away from home.
Stay connected where your trip takes you
Mobile devices now play a central role in nearly every trip. Your phone operates as your navigation tool and access point for everything from boarding passes to hotel reservations, but only if you have dependable service.
T-Mobile’s wireless network supports customers across the United States. That reliability is invaluable during lengthy road trips, national park visits, and travel in rural areas where coverage gaps would disrupt plans. If your trip takes you abroad, T-Mobile’s international plans provide data in more than 215 countries and destinations.
Together, the T-Mobile Visa credit card and T-Mobile’s network support both sides of your journey. The card helps manage travel expenses, while the network keeps you connected along the way.
Turn everyday spending into wireless savings
The T-Mobile Visa credit card is more than a travel tool. It also earns rewards on everyday purchases, including 2% in rewards on most spending and 5% in rewards on qualifying T-Mobile purchases.3,4 There is no limit to how much you can earn in rewards per year.
While many of the best rewards credit cards emphasize using points for travel, the T-Mobile Visa card takes a different approach. It allows you to apply rewards directly to your wireless bill or device purchases. Additional exclusions may apply. 5
For example, a $5,000 vacation charged to the card would generate $100 in rewards at 2%. That amount could help cover your service or go toward a phone upgrade. T-Mobile offers an online calculator that can show how much you’d earn in rewards based on your expected spending.
The T-Mobile Visa credit card has no annual fee.2 You can access all these benefits without taking on another fixed cost or feeling the need to travel often and spend heavily to make the card worthwhile.
Travel with more confidence
When travel costs are rising, having the right card in your wallet can make a real difference. The T-Mobile Visa credit card helps you lower booking costs, avoid unnecessary fees abroad, and turn everyday spending into wireless savings. Combined with T-Mobile’s nationwide network, it supports a smoother trip from start to finish.
