Matthew Smith is an Investment Adviser at Morgan Stanley.  He works with high net worth families to create and implement strategies that include investment management, estate planning and cash management.

Matthew was previously a Managing Director at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he most recently was Market Manager for the High Net Worth Market in Dallas. Prior to that role, Matthew supervised a team of bankers, associates and analysts that focused on wealthy individuals who owned and operated their own privately held businesses. 

Matthew spent his first 19 years in Houston. His experience there included roles in the commercial banking units at Wells Fargo and Chase Bank. From 1998 to 2004 he was a Development Director for Tondu Corporation, a private holding company.

Matthew received a B.S. in Business Administration from Trinity University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
