Patricia Kime is a journalist whose work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Military.com, Military Times and KFF Health News. She has covered military and veteran health care since 2011, reporting on combat-related illness and injuries and Pentagon and VA health policy. Kime is the recipient of several awards for journalistic excellence, receiving top honors from the National Press Foundation, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, Military Reporters and Editors and the Association of Health Care Journalists. A former analyst with the U.S. intelligence community, she holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Virginia.
