Alicia Adamczyk is a business and personal finance journalist whose work has been featured in Fortune, CNBC, The Washington Post, Money, Forbes, and USA Today. She has written about retirement planning, investing, taxes, student loans and more for over a decade, and is currently a senior editor for The Purse, where she tells women’s money stories.
Adamczyk previously worked as a senior reporter for Fortune, covering personal finance and contributing to the Most Powerful Women in Business franchise. Before that, she held reporting positions at CNBC, Lifehacker, Money, and Forbes, getting in the weeds on everything from retirement legislation to America’s health insurance woes. She has worked across mediums, writing for web and print publications as well as top-performing YouTube series.
Adamczyk holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Michigan. When she’s not writing, she’s browsing library bookshelves, testing out her next favorite recipe or hanging out with her husband and cat at their home in New York City.
