Home and Condo Prices Where You Live

See how the median prices of existing single-family homes in 383 U.S. metropolitan areas and condos in 31 metro areas have changed during the past one-, three- and five-year periods.

The table shows changes in home prices over the past one, three and five years in the 383 largest metropolitan areas tracked by Fiserv Lending Solutions, a research company in Cambridge, Mass. Median prices are for existing homes as of June 30, 2009. Affordability index measures (on a scale of 1 to 10) home prices versus family income -- the smaller the number, the more affordable. Nationwide, the median home price was $174,000, a 14.9% decline from the previous year.
