The table shows changes in home prices over the past one, three and five years in the 383 largest metropolitan areas tracked by Fiserv Lending Solutions, a research company in Cambridge, Mass. Median prices are for existing homes as of June 30, 2009. Affordability index measures (on a scale of 1 to 10) home prices versus family income -- the smaller the number, the more affordable.
