John Stewart

John Stewart began his career in corporate banking with Comerica before being recruited by Merrill Lynch, where he helped launch a new division dedicated to serving private business owners. In this role, he developed innovative financial products, including the Private Sales Referral Network (PSRN). The PSRN platform led to the successful transition of thousands of private businesses.

John holds Series 7, 63, and 79 securities licenses.

Outside of work, John is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys mountain biking, alpine skiing and golf. He spent more than a decade coaching youth baseball and ski racing and has served his community as both a church elder and finance committee chair.

A longtime supporter of University of Michigan football, he has held season tickets since 1979 but enjoys cheering alongside Spartans, Buckeyes and Tar Heels alike.

Above all, John is most proud of raising four children with his wife of more than 30 years, Karen.
