My first born in her Trumpette socks when she was 7 months old.

Finance & Investing

If you have children, you know what a struggle it can be to find socks that don't fall off your baby's feet. Even my boss, whose children are grown, recalls his kids crawling around with just one sock. That's why I'm such a fan of Trumpette socks. A colleague sent me Trumpette's The Perfect Little Dozen ($32.50) set of socks in all colors of the rainbow after my first daughter was born two years ago.

Not only is the packaging cute (an egg carton for the perfect dozen) and the patterns adorable and abundant (from dots to doggies to days of the week), these 100% cotton socks actually fit my daughter from the time she was born until she was one -- and they didn't fall off. Plus, they are skid proof. I love them so much that I've given them to other mothers and just bought some for my second daughter.
