Are consumer electronics becoming easier to use? We'd have to say no. The main problem is designers who seem to pack devices with features just because they can. But luckily, not all devices suffer from featuritis.

The Apple iPod and iPhone are the poster kids for simple tech, but designers have also given us easy-to-use digital cameras, comcorders and TV remotes.
