If you have some time on your hands this weekend, check out the confessions of wasteful spending at Spendster.org. You get sucked in because the videos are laugh-out-loud funny. My favorite was from Pat, who confesses that her Diet Coke addiction has cost her more than $10,000 over the past ten years.
But the stories on Spendster.org aren't just entertaining. They make you evaluate your own spending decisions. Come on, admit it: You probably have a few things in the back of a closet collecting dust. Realize you wasted money, vow not to do it again and earn some cash back by gathering up all those impulse buys and other unused objects around your house and selling them. Watch our video below to see how you can turn clutter into cash.
Also, let us know what your most wasteful purchase was.
