Which Retailers Are Open on Thanksgiving Day?

Is Macy's open on Thanksgiving Day? How about Costco? Or Target? Is Kohl's open for Thanksgiving? Check first if you plan to shop on November 24.

The holiday shopping season is quickly approaching. For eager consumers looking to score doorbuster deals on hot items including 4K TVs and video game consoles, cutting turkey time short on Thanksgiving Day to hit a few stores is becoming commonplace.

Last year, nearly 35 million people visited stores on Thanksgiving Day, according to a holiday shopping survey conducted by the National Retail Federation. This year, if you're planning to be among the millions to shop in-store on November 24, you'll want to make sure that your desired retailer will actually be open on Thanksgiving Day. Several big chains have already announced that they'll be shutting their doors and won’t reopen until Black Friday (November 25).

We've confirmed the following list of brick-and-mortar retailers that will be open or closed on Thanksgiving Day. Take a look.

Stores That Will Be Open on Thanksgiving Day 2016

Best Buy: All stores will open starting at 5 p.m. local time.

Big Lots: 7 a.m. to midnight

Dollar General: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Dollar Tree: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Dollar: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
