Don't Keep This Deal Site a Secret
Spread the word: Groupon.com offers offers bargains on meals, services and activities in more than 30 major cities. To snag a deal, though, enough other people have to want it, too.
The relatively new site features daily deals, such as $15 for $35 worth of Italian cuisine at a Miami restaurant, $50 for $100 worth of yoga classes at a studio in Portland, or $25 for a $40 wine-tasting event in Austin. If you're interested, you create an account and provide your credit-card information. You'll receive a Groupon by e-mail the next day and your account will be charged if a certain number of people also agree to "buy" the deal.

Groupon.com lists the number of people needed to buy each deal, so you get a pretty good idea about whether you'll actually get it. The site also provides information and reviews about the companies offering the deals.
